Why Gen Z is transforming fashion with eco conscious style choices
The Prince and Princess of Wales have said they are “deeply concerned” by the latest revelations surrounding Jeffrey Epstein, according to a spokesperson for Kensington Palace. In their first public comments on the issue, the spokesperson said Prince William and Princess Catherine were focused on the victims following the release of new US documents linked to the late sex offender.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has come under renewed scrutiny because of his past association with Epstein. Last week, he moved out of his Windsor residence earlier than expected, amid fresh disclosures about his relationship with the American financier. He is now living on King Charles’s privately owned Sandringham Estate. Mountbatten-Windsor maintained contact with Epstein even after his 2008 conviction for a child sex offence. While he has previously apologised for his links to Epstein, he has consistently denied any wrongdoing. The pressure has intensified following the release of a large cache of US documents, which include images appearing to show Mountbatten-Windsor kneeling over a woman. No context has been provided for the photographs, and it is unclear when or where they were taken.
The documents also appear to confirm the authenticity of a widely circulated photograph showing Mountbatten-Windsor with Virginia Giuffre, who accused him of sexual abuse when she was a teenager. He has denied the allegations and settled the case out of court in 2022 without admitting liability. Kensington Palace reiterated that the Prince and Princess of Wales remain focused on the victims as further details continue to emerge.
