Subway has officially launched its Spudway nationwide across the UK and Ireland, following a successful trial earlier this year. The new menu item allows customers to swap traditional bread for a baked potato and top it with Subway’s popular fillings, including tuna mayonnaise, meatball marinara, and chicken tikka. In addition, Subway has added a cheese and baked beans Spudway to the menu, catering to fans of the classic comfort food combination.
“The enthusiasm we’ve seen on social media and the strong demand from our guests throughout the trial made it clear that Spudway deserved a permanent place on our menu,” said Cathy Goodwin, Interim Director of Culinary & Innovation Subway EMEA.
The Spudway is now available in all UK and Ireland branches, offering customers a new, hearty twist on the traditional sub.
