Bournemouth Airport Adds New Route to Reus, Spain for Summer 2027

Bournemouth Airport has announced a new route to Reus Airport, Spain, expanding travel options for holidaymakers in summer 2027. The flights will be operated by Jet2.com, offering both flights and package holidays. The service will run once a week on Sundays from May 2 to October 31, 2027, marking the ninth Spanish destination available from Bournemouth Airport. The launch comes shortly after Jet2 celebrated its first anniversary of operations at the south coast airport.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, described Reus as a “magical destination” and highlighted the strong demand for early bookings. The Costa Dorada region, served by Reus Airport, is known for its classic beach resorts, Catalan culture, 50 miles of coastline, and attractions like PortAventura World theme park. Nearby cities, including Tarragona and Reus, offer cultural experiences for travellers.

Steve Gill, managing director of Bournemouth Airport, said the new route is a “great addition to our growing network with Jet2,” providing passengers with more choice for popular summer destinations. Jet2 flights include 10kg of hand luggage, are ATOL-protected, and the airline has been a recommended provider for ten consecutive years.
