Star Wars Celebration 2027 Announces First Guests Ahead of Ticket Launch

Excitement is building for Star Wars Celebration 2027 as the first wave of celebrity guests has officially been revealed ahead of ticket sales. The upcoming convention, set to take place in Los Angeles, promises a major milestone celebration for fans across the galaxy. Among the first confirmed names are Hayden Christensen, Ian McDiarmid, Anthony Daniels, Michelle Ang, and Dee Bradley Baker. While some, like Daniels and McDiarmid, are long-time staples of the convention, Christensen has also become a recurring favorite in recent years. All guests are expected to participate in autograph sessions and photo opportunities, though booking details have yet to be released.

This edition of the event will be especially significant as it coincides with the 50th anniversary of the original Star Wars film. Organizers, including Lucasfilm and Disney, are teasing a larger-than-usual celebration filled with exclusive content and experiences. The event will run from April 1–4, 2027, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, marking the franchise’s return to the United States after its previous American stop in Anaheim in 2022. Tickets officially go on sale May 6 at 12:00 PM PT, and high demand is expected, especially with hotel bookings likely to follow soon after.

In addition to guest announcements, organizers have also unveiled the first wave of exclusive merchandise, featuring apparel and collectibles inspired by the saga’s golden anniversary. More reveals—including additional celebrity guests and panel announcements are expected in the coming weeks. The convention is also expected to serve as a major promotional platform for the upcoming film Star Wars: Starfighter, directed by Shawn Levy and starring Ryan Gosling, which is scheduled for release in May 2027. Cast appearances from the film are widely anticipated.

With a prime Los Angeles location and a historic anniversary to celebrate, Star Wars Celebration 2027 is shaping up to be one of the franchise’s biggest fan events yet.
